What is a Leads Group?

A leads group is comprised of many different types of businesses who are intently focused on being a marketing force for each other. This group becomes a networking environment where you can build relationships with other business professionals. During the leads group meetings other members will become familiar with your business and learn how they can refer you to their own circle of contacts.

Leads Group One is the premier business networking group at The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Our group membership is primarily business-to-business focused. Only one member per business category is allowed, so there is no intra-group competition.

Meetings

We meet at the Chamber building at 1445 Market Street in downtown Denver. We meet the first three Thursday mornings from 7:00AM to about 9:00 AM. If there is a fourth or fifth Thursday in a month we do not meet unless there is a Bonus meeting planned. We do encourage our members to meet together one-on-one or in small groups to build relationships and familiarity with each others’ products and services.

Networking, Announcements, and “Commercials”

We begin each meeting with 15 minutes of informal networking and a light breakfast. This is a good time to get to know new members and visitors. We start the formal meeting promptly at 7:15 with any announcements. Then each member presents a 30 second “commercial” about their business and desired contacts and/or “centers of influence”. Your “commercial” should highlight what your business does, who your ideal contacts or centers of influence are, and what leads or contacts you are targeting.

Speakers

Members are encouraged to sign up to be speakers on a regular basis. There are three speakers per week and each is given 10-12 minutes to present their business more thoroughly than during their short “commercial.” This is the time to hand out information, or do a slide presentation. We've even had skits that vividly demonstrate what that member does.

Parking

Don’t worry about parking—just park on the street and we’ll break just before 8AM to feed the meters!

Passing Leads

After the final speaker we make our way around the room and each person will present their leads and/or talk about leads they received from other members.

Joining Our Group

You are welcome to visit our group twice before joining. You don’t even have to be a Chamber member to visit. However, to be a leads group member, you must also be a member of the Denver Metro Chamber Of Commerce. We can also allow only businesses to join that are not competing with those who are already members. You can review our Denver Leads Group One membership list here. Leads group participation is a benefit of membership in the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.
More than 300 members are currently enrolled in 16 authorized DMCC leads groups.
